Palms West Republican Club Holds Third Meeting of 2010 Year

On July 7th, 2010 the Palms West Republican Club held our third meeting of the 2010 calendar year and the meeting was our best of the year.  Our special guest speaker Congressman Tom Rooney spoke on current and upcoming Congressional issues and the critical  importance of Republican constituents being active in the 2010 election year.

The local Knights of Columbus presented Congressman Rooney with a copy of the Declaration of Independence signed by local Catholic Church members as a symbolic gesture in support for the rights of the unborn.

Sid Dinerstein, Chairman of the Republican Party of  Palm Beach County, introduced Tom and provided commentary on current issues.

Carl Domino and Ellyn Bogdanoff, candidates for FL Senate D25 concluded the meeting speaking on their qualifications and the key issues driving them to campaign.

The next meeting will be scheduled for early September to focus in on the general election in November.
